Studio Recital Fall 2019
Our Oberlin tradition of eschewing private hearings and juries each fall in favor of public performances continued this season, with a Studio Recital featuring most members of the studio in solo sets of about 20 minutes each. One member, Aidan Wiley Lippke, had played a full degree recital earlier this semester, so was excused from this performance. We used the acoustically fantastic Fairchild Chapel for the show. The students attracted many of their friends, who formed a warm and welcoming audience. Afterwards, we retired for dinner and drinks to Agave, for an end-of-the-semester social. Have a peak at their sets. The full program is at the end of the post.
