Mohit Dubey's Junior Recital
Mohit Dubey gave two full solo recitals at Oberlin prior to this year, his junior year. Like most of my students, he is giving a full program of new music each year of his enrollment. This semester, however, the concert counts towards his graduation, so is of special note. He played the concert in one of our favorite rooms, Stull Recital Hall. The concert was so well-attended that people were sitting and standing all around the back of the room; it was an authentically SRO packed house, a testament to Mohit's musicianship and wide circle of friends and admirers.
He played music of Bach, Regondi, Lauro and Dyens (full program at the end of the post). Congratulations, Mohit!!!
