Simon played his best-ever show at Fairchild Chapel last night. Musically compelling, intensely expressive, and pinpoint accurate, Simon was in the zone.

Last year he played Bach's BWV997 and Paganini's Caprice 24, so we decided this year to feature some lighter material. His pipa-inspired rendition of a Chinese folk song was beautiful.
