Francis Biggi, Italian lutanist and specialist in Medieval and Renaissance music, was in town with the early music ensemble, Lucidarium. He taught a class for guitar students in the afternoon yesterday, before the concert. Sarah Boyson played A Fancy of Dowland, and Mr. Biggi gave a short lecture on the lute's history. A terrific and very informative evening!
